Chrissy Smith is an attorney and child/family advocate in Wayne County, North Carolina. Chrissy currently holds a dual advocacy role as a family law attorney and community liaison with the Partnership for Children Wayne County. As an attorney she has focused her practice in family law and Guardian Ad Litem cases. Serving as community liaison for the Partnership for Children Wayne County she works collaboratively with local and statewide agencies seeking to improve outcomes for children and families in the areas of health, family support and access to affordable, quality early education. She has helped lead the conversation on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and building resilience within the community.
Chrissy graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Child Life and Child Development and received her Juris Doctorate at Campbell University School of Law in 2012. Since that time she has lived in Wayne County and has been involved with community action groups including WAYne Forward, Wayne Child Advocacy Network (CAN), the CATCH steering committee on Social Determinants of health, the ACEs Steering Committee, Lawyers 4 Literacy, and other community driven initiatives. She is the Chair of the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce and serves as the Honorary Commander to the JAG office at Seymour Johnson Air force Base. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the substance abuse task force Coalition for Addiction and Life Management (CALM).
Jonathan Smith was born and raised in Goldsboro, and now uses his legal skills to serve the people of his hometown. Jonathan focuses his practice on personal injury, workers’ compensation, wrongful death, mass torts and class actions.
As a Goldsboro personal injury lawyer, Jonathan has received numerous awards and accolades, including the prestigious National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 under 40 award. In 2019, Jonathan was also admitted to the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which recognize trial attorneys who have won the most significant settlements and verdicts.
Jonathan attended Appalachian State University where he earned his degree in Accounting, and later received his law degree from Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University.
